United FC Gold have not lost a game since it lost 2-1 the Force at last years Surf Cup during the semi finals, that was back in August of 2012, last weekend UFC defeated FC Golden State and Hammers FC to earn a place at this Summers Regional Championships in Hawaii. Head coach Bryan Wallace who was last years Cal South Coach of the year will make his 5th consecutive appearance at the regional championships in Hawaii where his team will seek to defend the title it won in 2012.
New England Revolution’s Pre-Academy squad is 5-0 since resuming Northeast Pre-Academy League play in March, has only conceded a single goal in those five matches, and climbs from #21 to #11 in our standings. Revolution will have a true test when it faces #1 New York Red Bulls for the second time on April 20. The Revs handed New York Red Bulls its only loss on the season back in October.
FC Golden State Academy re-emerges into the TeamRank Top 25 this month at #20 after a runner up finish (behind #1 United FC Gold) in the Far West Regional League spring season, and a quarterfinal finish at Dallas Cup.
Charlie has always been an exceptional talent, however over the last year he has improved his game and received national recognition becomming one of forty '98 pool players to receive an invite to the US National Team training camp July 28th-August 5th.
